Xbox Game Pass brings back the $1 trial offer, but not for console players

Microsoft has been pushing Xbox Game Pass for a long time. It’s their great subscription service that they’ve been promoting with every game release of their own. However, if you haven’t tried the service, you can try it for just $1. Unfortunately, this is only for the PC platform.

We’ve seen the $1 trial move in and out of Xbox Game Pass. It used to be a way to try out Xbox Game Pass for a whole month. However, it has since moved to just 14 days. But hey, having access for even that long should give you enough time to decide if it’s worth investing in the subscription to enjoy some new games.

Thanks to the people of Eurogamertoday we learn that Microsoft has brought back the $1 trial for Xbox Game Pass for PC gamers after removing it before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This will give you access to the service, allow you to try out the different games, and even test the look of cloud gaming. However, it’s worth noting that once your trial ends, you’ll be put straight into an auto-renew feature. So, if you don’t want to pay this monthly fee, it’s best to go ahead and cancel your service before the trial ends.

For Xbox Game Pass fans, the next big title coming out should be Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Developed at MachineGames, with whom you may be familiar with the latest Wolfenstein titles, will launch this game in the market next month. This game will be released on December 9, 2024. When released, it will be on Xbox Game Pass and will be available separately for the Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. Of course, we know that the game will also be released on the PlayStation 5 platform next year.
